You can give it a more sensible name - I used "Skyrim - Dragonborn" for example, and then in the Compatibility tab tick the box for 'Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool', then select the Proton version - I chose Proton 7.0-5 which was the latest stable Proton version at time of writing..
